Hello my name is Jassey and I have Grave’s Disease/Hyperthyroid. I am 22 years of age and have had Grave’s disease before when I was in middle school going into high school. I was treated with PTU for 2 years until my disease went into remission. I had a physical a year ago and tests showed that my GDisease has come back. I’ve been having all the symptoms periodically more than I noticed before. I never felt the symptoms before because it was said that they caught the disease early. I really am looking to find a natural endocrine doctor that can help control my disease as my Grave’s Disease has lead me to high blood pressure, heart palpitations, and tremors in my hands. I live in the Dunwoody/Atlanta area and was wondering what you could offer for my health situation. I’ve never been treated holistically before and I don’t really know what to expect. Many of you report to my office with a complaint of being hypothyroid only to have been told by so are you. However, they have not gone far enough to document what you know to be true. Your thyroid gland most of the time is producing adequate amounts of thyroid. However, after it leaves the gland, the brain takes over and it responds to environmental cues, sleep, stress, exercise, etc. This your primary care provider that you are normal on testing.
